This place just may have saved my son’s life along with my view of myself as a mother. After years of struggle, my son agreed to get help. It started with my call to Chris and then to meeting Jacob. These men care. They felt our brokenness and stepped up to meet us where we were. Nick, my son’s counselor there spoke wisdom to him daily and got in the trenches with him to battle some of his most binding traits. Gail blew me away when I met her after only 7 days...her comments revealed that she had already worked to get to know my precious boy. We are on to sober living now and I will forever be grateful to this place.
As a professional in the field of recovery, I have referred many clients to Blue Ridge as they do excellent work and truly care about each client individually. The staff is excellent and the CEO is the best in the field.
Awesome and caring staff. They helped get me back on the right path. I am forever grateful for this program.
Jacob, the councilor was absolutely amazing, he really challenged my loved one when it came to assignments. The family workshop that they have is super informative and they do great exercises with the clients and families. My loved one has come out truly a person I can see potential for long term sobriety. This is not a detox place this is not a wham bam place either. I would recommend BRMR to anyone that is struggling with addiction and are ready to make a change for the better.
I have never worked with a more genuine, authentic, and caring staff. Every single person there wants to make early recovery a little easier for everyone who comes through the doors by showing them love and respect. The people at Blue Ridge truly want to care for each client as an individual and not a number. I am honored to be part of this team.
As an employee who has worked in many treatment facilities over the years, I can say this is one of the best places I have ever worked for. I believe we provide a loving, passionate, and professional environment for clients to discover sobriety. We are unique in that what we offer is a balance between clinical acumen and enthusiasm for recovery.
I have worked in treatment centers for two years, and I never felt truly at home until I began working at Blue Ridge. My first day of work (in April 2017) I immediately felt welcomed by the staff, and clients as well. I have discovered something in my time at Blue Ridge, the staff, including myself, care very deeply about each and every client. We have a housekeeping staff, and a kitchen staff, but they do not just clean and cook, they also speak with the clients and show them the love they deserve. It has been an honor to work with this team, and I am looking forward to many more years here!
I have been fortunate to be a part of Blue Ridge for a few years now. I have never seen such a collection of caring, passionate people as those I've been graced to work alongside. The program is well-rounded, employing multiple therapy styles, including individual and group counseling, 12-step, and a psychiatrist. The campus is beautiful and serene. The feel of the community of clients has consistently been warm and welcoming.
I am a Client Advocate at Blue Ridge and it is such an honor to work for such a facility with impeccable integrity. The entire staff is dedicated to the complete and overall care of each individual client. We work hard to recognize each person's needs to make treatment not only effective, but comfortable. The CEO, Todd Stumbo, as well as all of the directors and counselors, consistently unify the treatment team in practicing probity and setting standards that align with promoting an atmosphere of recovery. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful and located in a serene environment, including extracurricular activities that help to keep everyone entertained and motivated. I am incredibly privileged to work at this principled and caring facility! If you are considering joining us, I look forward to serving you.
Working at Blue Ridge has been one of the most AMAZING experiences of my life. To be surrounded by like minded people who have a passion for helping those struggling with addiction is such a blessing. There are several areas of the program I love but having Christine Hearn coming weekly to conduct yoga and DBT has been one of the highlights!! I deeply appreciate everything that all the staff do and the support of the local recovery community. I look forward to continue to fight the battle daily with others who are driven to change the world.
I am the Director of the Family and Alumni program here at Blue Ridge Recovery Center and love my staff, our beautiful facility and the clients we serve. I always recommend our facility to anyone that wants recovery from addiction. We serve not only the clients but the family.
Walking through the doors at Blue Ridge truly saved my life. At 30 years old it was my first treatment center I had ever been to. I was scared to death, broken, lonely, depressed, full of anxiety, and full of grief and guilt for what I had let my life become and what I had done to my myself and my family. Through my 35 days I got stronger everyday, I learned new things everyday, I learned how to cope with addiction, I learned how to live a clean lifestyle, I learned that addiction is not just a term that gets thrown around; addiction is a true disease. Before I left Blue Ridge I learned how to put the past in the past and look forward to my future, I learned how to forgive myself, and most importantly I learned how to love myself again. From the CEO, Medical Director, Family & Alumni Director, Program Director, the Counselors, the Nursing staff, the Tech staff, all the way to the cleaning staff; they were all truly amazing! I will be forever grateful for Blue Ridge Mountain Recovery Center!
I will forever be thankful for the time I spent at Blue Ridge!! I love the staff and most of the are in recovery so they can relate! There was always some one on staff to talk to. They truly care about recovery. I left with an education on addiction and recovery. But more importantly I found who I wanted to be and I had the tools to become that person! Thank you BRMRC for helping me begin my new life!
